Special: The Forsaken Trilogy

By : RJ Barker

Gods of the Wyrdwood and Warlords of Wyrdwood by RJ Barker follow a reluctant former warrior living in a dangerous, myth-filled land where vast forests teem with strange magic, monsters, and powerful gods. As conflict spreads and oppressive forces tighten their grip, he is drawn back into a larger struggle, guiding others through perilous wilderness while confronting his past and an escalating threat that blurs the line between natural and supernatural. Expanding in scope from personal survival to wider rebellion, the story explores leadership, belief, and the cost of resisting forces far greater than oneself.

Guest : RJ Barker
RJ Barker is a critically acclaimed and award-winning author of fantasy fiction. He has published three trilogies; The Wounded Kingdom Trilogy, Tide Child Trilogy, and his newest, The Forsaken Trilogy, and is the winner of the 2020 British Fantasy Society (BFS) Robert Holdstock award for Best Novel. RJ lives in Leeds with his wife, son and a collection of questionable taxidermy, odd art, scary music and more books than they have room for. He grew up reading whatever he could get his hands on, and has always been ‘that one with the book in his pocket’. Having played in rock bands before deciding he was a rubbish musician, RJ returned to his first love, fiction.
