Club Meeting 40: We Do Not Part
We Do Not Part by Han Kang is a contemplative and emotionally layered novel that follows two individuals whose lives become intertwined through shared memories and a haunting connection to the past. As the narrative unfolds, it moves between present experiences and fragments of history, exploring themes of trauma, friendship, and the lasting imprint of violence on both individuals and communities. Written in spare, evocative prose, the book reflects on grief, memory, and the fragile ties that bind people together.
